Through
our partners we identify, or help foundations to structure,
for their endowment portfolios, unique market rate investment
opportunities in social investment funds or early stage for-profit
companies that have a “double bottom-line” (financial
and social returns). We help you:
- Understand how these investments fit in your
foundation investment policy and asset allocation.
- Create appropriate metrics for evaluation.
- Monitor these investments and help you measure
and assess both their financial and social performance.

Related Investments (PRIs)
We also assist foundations in better understanding
how investments in social ventures or loans to nonprofits may
be counted as grants and included in their grants portfolios
instead of their investment portfolio. For PRIs, we provide the
same services as those provided for social investing, but we
